We are a new church in the Scarborough, Maine area with a refreshing new approach to life and ministry. (Look for our banner on Saturdays on US Route One just south of Dunstan Corner.) Our doors are open to people from all backgrounds. Whether you are just beginning to ask questions about God, or are a committed Christian wanting to deepen your faith, The Journey is a place you can call home and find spiritual hope, help, and encouragement. It doesn't matter where you are in your spiritual journey--we encourage you to visit The Journey and discover for yourself God's wonderful love and plan for your life. Part of our uniqueness comes from presenting the truth in a contemporary, practical, relevant, and loving manner. Our weekend services are family-oriented, and casual dress is encouraged--just be yourself. At the heart of The Journey are our mid-week Life Groups. Imagine a small-group setting where honest friendships, Bible study, prayer, encouragement, and compassionate care are emphasized. It is within the core of these Life Groups where discipleship really takes place. We encourage you to become a part of these contagious Christian communities that strive to influence and encourage one another in this life journey.
